Considering that there does not appear to be a record of Patrick's baptism, or a record of Mary Agnes' birth registration, it seems likely that Patrick's birth registration and Mary Agnes' baptism refer to the same child, meaning that Mary Agnes was erroneously recorded as Patrick in the birth register.
