General
According to family history Dave Clohessy came from Tankardstown and that he and his family later lived in Fanningstown. I am presuming that they lived in Fanningstown from the time of their marriage. As far as the evidence goes, John was baptised in 1854 in Fedamore, suggesting that the family was living in Fanningstown since before that time. In the 1901 Census Dave is in Ballinamona with Dan Ryan's family. I am presuming that he had moved to Ballinamona permanently. |

Narrative
There is a record of the marriage of John Clohessy & Mary Hogan in Fedamore in 1820 (Feb 9) - https://registers.nli.ie//registers/vtls000634980#page/93/mode/1up
There is a record of a baptism in 1821 (Feb 27) of David of John Clohessy & Mary Hogan - https://registers.nli.ie//registers/vtls000634980#page/1/mode/1up
The year of birth is what would be expected given Dave's age at the time of the 1901 census, so it's tempting to think that John Clohessy & Mary Hogan are his parents, but Dave is not likely to have been baptised in Fedamore if he grew up in Tankardstown.
