MR. PATRICK CLOHESSY
FEDAMOREMuch regret was caused recently
by the death of Mr. Patrick Clo-
hessy. Deceased, who had reached
the fine age of 84, was active and
lively up to two days of his death/
It was the way he would have
liked to go, as he always led a most
active life. Respected by those of
his own generation over a wide
area, he was better known to the
younger generation as the father
of the Clohessy brothers, famous
on the hurling field for Limerick
over many years.
The huge funeral was eloquent
of the respect in which he was held
and the sympathy which was ex-
tended to his family.
The chief mourners were: And-
rew, Dave, PAddy (sons), Mary,
Mrs. T. Conway (daughters),
Patrick, Maureen, Eileen, Andrew
Clohessy, Fanningstown; Mary,
Helen, Thomas, Andrew Conway,
Carnane; Leehy, Andrew, Mary
